The Secrets On How to Get Ripped Abs Fast Exposed
This second part will deal with how to get ripped abs through diet and weights training. If you are just starting and are on the lean and thin side, train for three times a week, using all primary muscle groups you want to build, spending about forty five minutes per session. Do not do more than this; you will just be wasting your energy. Your muscles need the non-workout days to rest and grow; do not sabotage muscle growth by over-training. Condition your mind. Aim for more strength and power.

If you have been building muscles for some time now, and are already ripped and strong, you can concentrate more on each muscle group, spending more time and effort to maintain previous muscle growth, and using more energy. Training time should be about an hour and a half.
And what diet should you consider for ripped abs?
If you are lean or skinny, indulge in a high quality filling breakfast; this should be your biggest meal for the day. Eat a lot of potatoes, rice, and whole grain. Your carbohydrate intake should be twice that of your protein. Take in heart-friendly fatty food.
If you are on the big, muscled side, your intake of protein must equal that of carbohydrate. Carbohydrate should come primarily from vegetables and fruits; you can take this also in liquid form. Make sure that your fat intake be limited to healthy fat – olive oil, nuts, avocado, and the like.
Ripped abs requires determination and persistence. You have to be committed to the diet and exercise program which will lead you to ripped abs. There is no short-cut. You have to be psychologically conditioned so that you are able to sustain your efforts though there may be times when you do not see immediate results.
Aside from cardiovascular exercises, you should do resistance or weight training to tone and condition your abs. Push-ups, pull-ups, barbell lifts, dumbbell swings, squats, chin-ups, and snatches should be part of your regimen.
There are two eBooks on the market today which are getting much notice and praise for their effective programs for six pack abs.
One is Your Six Pack Quest – the Non Nonsense Fat Loss System. Created by Vince Del Monte, this program seeks to strengthen and condition the whole body and, most especially, your midsection, so that it gets the definitions you want – the six pack abs. It includes weights training exercises, cardio workouts, and nutritional guidelines – the whole gamut of information and techniques you need to get your six pack abs.

The other is The Truth About Six Pack Abs by Michael Geary. This book emphasizes that fat loss is critical to a six pack. You may have good abdominal muscles but when they are surrounded by fat, they stay unnoticed. Like Del Monte, Geary says that aerobic exercises, weight lifting, and sensible nutrition are also essential to achieving six pack abs. They differ in that Del Monte gives more weight to cardiovascular exercises.
Although these two books seem bent on giving you the six pack abs you want, they really are more than just simple abdominal exercises. In spite of certain differences, both are holistic and comprehensive in their approach. Both say that the quest for six abs is a lifelong process. There is not short-cut, no quick fix.
