Global Warming:Global Problem Stats as of 03/27/2009
My blog entry “Global Warming:Global Problem” dated September 17, 2008, has been consistently receiving “hits” for the past few months. I am actually happy because I think that more people are now becoming aware of global warming.
I can say that we will really become aware of it once we experience it’s effects. In addition to that, we can also understand Global Warming deeper if we find time to watch films explaining it, like “An Inconvenient Truth”, and “Signos: Banta Ng Nagbabagong Klima”.
Tomorrow is a good day for people out there who wants to become aware or do a part in saving the world from climate change. Let us switch off our lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm tomorrow. Well, I want to see how it will be celebrated tomorrow, so I am thinking where to go tomorrow night.
Anyway, I am also happy because I feel that this Earth Hour is becoming bigger ever year. I hope this will continue until we solve this global problem.
Tomorrow will be the first time for Philippines – of turning off the lights in lengthy duration of time. Unlike last time, similar to this event, we’ve switched off the lights for short duration, how about tomorrow?
I’m excited to see how Filipino can participate on this wary Global Warming kind of vote.
