Silver Year

I arrived early in the office yesterday. An office mate came in eraly yesterday with a big bag full of roses which she gave to some of our office mates. It was actually a surprise which made my office mates think hard who gave them roses. I suddenly felt that love was really in the air.

All were observing what color the people in the office yesterday because of an e-mail that has been sent to many of us last Thursday…

I wore violet yesterday which I just realized that was not in the list. Actually I was about to wore something with a touch of pink. Hehe. But today, I am wearing a white shirt. As expected, many people wore red clothes yesterday and today.

I received chocolates and a rose (haha) from our HR Department yesterday because I am one of the first 14 employees who came in the office yesterday. Haha. It was actually my first time to receive a rose. Funny.

These things made me feel love in the air. In addition to that, I also passed by the mall. The mood was sweet. I bought my mom a long stemmed rose. I am actually surprised by the prices of the flowers this season. But thinking that it would make my mom feel special, I just didn’t care about the price. Well, it’s something that made me feel happy too.

Today, I’ll be going to work, meeting a friend, and dining with my family. Just the right way to celebrate this day.
