Belly Laugh Day

Opinion

I was thinking this morning what to post in my blog today, since I have to come to office because it’s my duty. I suddenly remembered that today is “Belly Laugh Day” according to my journal.

I thought of what to post for this day… a joke? a funny experience? I know it would be hard for me to make the readers of this post laugh until they drop. Then I remembered my speech in our speech class back in college…

We had to make a speech in our AVR in front of our blockmates and our professor who is very fluent in English. Scary. Finding a good topic was another hard thing to do. I can’t remember why I chose the topic about Filipino humor. I can’t remember also my exact speech was but my main point was we Filipinos have good sense of humor. Even though we have lots of problems, we still find ways to smile and laugh.

Unexpectedly, my professor liked my speech. She said that it was actually a big revelation from me because she knew me as a quiet student in her class.

agree ako dito..mahit sobrang dami at sobrang laki na ng problem eh nakakaya pa rin nating tumawa.we find humor in everything.

Seriously, I would be rattling now. But, more seriously, that is surely one hell of a speech. Every time I am having mine last year, I tend to get nervous even though the words are just coming one after the other. Oh, well. I think I’m sick haha. Very nice site you have here.
