The First Letter For 2008
Biyernes, Enero 25, 2008 Mag-iwan ng Puna
Dear Rowjie,
Hello! How are you? Thank you very much for your Christmas letter which you sent me last year. I was busy because of my new job that’s why I only had the time now to reply to your letter. Anyway, January is already about to end, but yet, there are already a lot of stories that happened this 2008 which I want to share to you.
Well, I’ve really been adjusting lately to my new job. I’ve been already here for more than a month now. But still, I can’t say that I have completely adjusted to the environment. There are lot of times when I really feel lazy and lonely. I tried listening to my favorite songs while working. Actually, it is the most effective thing for me so that I will not feel bored. It also pushes me to work. Unfortunately, a “big boss” do not like seeing her employees like that. I do not have any other option but to obey the rules. I also don’t want to be an exemption to the rule if ever they will allow me to do so. If they don’t want, then don’t. Oh well… get a life…
But in fairness, I am already being able to talk and join some of my co-employees here. Thanks to them because without them, maybe I am already counting my last few days here in the company.
Anyway, I always look forward for weekends because my dad is having his vacation here in the Philippines for a month. That’s why we try to have “family bonding” on weekends. Included also in my weekend schedule is to rest. Haha.
I am also happy because I had a close encounter with The CompanY last Wednesday evening. They had a free show in Greenbelt 3 Park. It was a bossa nova evening and I really had a great time. It was my first time to watch The CompanY perform live and I am really impressed with their performance. Ms. Eileen Sison with Guarana band also performed after The CompanY’s performance. I had the chance to let the members of The CompanY signed in my CD of Destination: Bossa. They are really kind and so down to earth people. I also had a picture with th lovely ladies of The CompanY. I’ll be including it in this letter. I’ll wait for your reply. Obrigada!

Me & the lovely ladies of The CompanY (Ms. Cecille, Ms. Annie, and Ms. Sweet)
Rowjiefully Yours,
Rowjie
