Since 1999, it had been my practice every year to choose a song which I can say my song of the year. These are the songs which had been my biggest favorite for a particular year. Here is the list of the songs that I had named my Song of The Year from 1999 to 2006.

- 2001 – All The Love In The World by The Corrs
- 2002 – Make You Mine by The Corrs
- 2003 – You & I Both by Jason Mraz
- 2004 – Hey Ya! by Outkast
- 2005 – Soldier by Destiny’s Child
- 2006 – Geek In The Pink by Jason Mraz
For the year 2007, I’ve been really listening to a lot of Bossa Nova music. Rowjielogy’s 2007 Song of the Year is a song that really keeps on playing in my music player all over again. It’s an old song actually, but someone made her own version of the song, and I really love it.
Isabella Ortega is one of the first few Bossa Nova artists here in the Philippines. Like A Lover is one of the songs in The Bossa Nova Experience album. Many artists had also done their own version of this song, but so far, it’s Isabella’s version I like the best. I really like the melody of this song, as well as the lyrics and the message.
