Rowjielogy: The Story So Far

The term “Rowjielogy” started in January of 2006 as a Blogger blog. My intention of creating it was primarily to have a blog where I can place all my ideas, aside from my blog back then where I post blog entries about my everyday life. Later on, I decided to close that Rowjielogy blog.

It was in June of 2006 when I decided to reformat my current blog back then (Intertwined Quests). I decided to use the name “Rowjielogy”. All I was thinking back then was the term “Biology”. Biology is a branch of Science and Biology is made up of different studies also like Zoology, etc. Comparing it to Rowjielogy, Rowjielogy is also made up of several topics, or which I call “departments”.

Somehow, it was a big switch from just posting entries about what’s happening in your life to thinking topics first regarding a scheduled department before posting it. I mean, before, I post entries about things as they happen to me. But now, aside from that, there is also a “brainstorming” portion before I can post. In other words, most of the time, my blog entries right now is usually already scheduled few days before I post it, but still, with regards to the events as they happen.

Switching to Blogsome in December 2006 was a big decision. Because I stayed in Blogger for more than a year. Unfortunately, I did not stay in Blogsome for a long time. I still chose Blogger.

It was in March 2007 when I decided to move out of Blogger due to some reasons. And right now, I can say that I am enjoying my stay here in WordPress. But switching to a new blog host always require a new start. I mean, I have to begin from scratch again. I had to inform my c0-bloggers that I have moved from Blogger to WordPress. I had to think of new ideas again since I moved in a new blog.

And now, Rowjielogy Version 1.5 is about to end. I am contented here in WordPress and I am still looking forward in posting a lot of blog entries here in WordPress.
