Still a part of Rowjielogy’s mobile blogging series (actually, I’m just trying different mobile applications and sites), Rowjielogy Project Level 7 presents Rowjielogy’s Mobile PhotoBlog.

This is primarily powered by Opera Mini. Opera Mini is a free browser for our GPRS enabled mobile phones. If you try to research on this product, you’ll find many good feedbacks on this. One of it’s feature is a Photo Blog. You just need to sign up in My Opera website and you can already start up your blog. For the Philippines’ setting, it would be cheaper posting an entry with a photo compared to a “text only” entry because if you want to post a “text only” entry using your mobile phone, you have to use the MMS capabilities of your phone. On the other hand, if you will post an entry with a photo, you have to use the GPRS capabilities of your phone. Hmmm… Well, I think I’m wrong. It should be, it will depend which one will be cheaper on what mobile network you belong to. Another nice featue on Opera blogs is you can also post an entry using your PCs. I’ve tried a moblog service where you can only post using your mobile phone!

Some of the nice features that I also tried are the groups, where you can join or create your own group, forums where you can interact with other Opera users, and photo albums.

But still, there are some features of Blogger, WordPress, etc., which Opera blogs cannot provide, like adding your create codes on the blog sidebar.

I think they are still in the development process to perfect their product. But for me, I find their product good and promising.
